Day 95’s reading is about treatment (or thought that make up a healing treatment). Today’s reading is about specific guidance for our own actions, thoughts, and lives.

I believe there are points in this chapter that would benefit any relationship, even a friendship or family relation. Aside from the specific marital points, Mary Baker Eddy is talking about how to sustain any relationship. She puts a good prerequisite on relationships that I use today:
A mutual understanding should exist before this union and continue ever after, for deception is fatal to happiness.
A gentleman told of an unhappy woman who was about to separate from her husband. This gentleman had asked her if she did not love her husband. She replied, “No; when I married him I did, but not now.” He told her God made man in His image and likeness, and that He is perfect. He said to her, “Go home and see only God’s perfect man; you don’t need to love a sinful mortal such as you have been looking upon.”
