The nice thing about the web is that I can display Mary Baker Eddy’s words in an arrangement that is meaningful to me. So here goes:

In Science, Mind is one, including noumenon and phenomena, God and His thoughts. In divine Science, the universe, including man, is spiritual, harmonious, and eternal.	The spiritually unscientific definition of mind is based on the evidence of the physical senses, which makes minds many and calls mind both human and divine.

1st Degree Depravity Physical Evil beliefs, passions and appetites, fear, depraved will, self-justification, pride, envy, deceit, hatred, revenge, sin, sickness, disease, death. 2nd Degree Evil beliefs disappearing. Moral Humanity, honesty, affection, compassion, hope, faith, meekness, temperance. 3rd Degree Understanding. Spiritual Wisdom, purity, spiritual understanding, spiritual power, love, health, holiness.
